Maia Bouchier and Alice Davidson-Richards have been added to England’s T20 squad for the West Indies following Alice Capsey’s withdrawal from the tour.
Capsey broke his left collarbone during the first ODI in the Caribbean, which ruled him out for the rest of the tour.
England coped well with the youngster’s absence, taking a 2-0 lead in Antigua before Friday’s clash, but strengthened their hand in the five T20 matches that followed.
Bouchier, who has played 14 games, has flown in to join the squad after being overlooked by the selectors while Davidson-Richards continues to be the only 50-over selection.
England’s first outing under head coach Jon Lewis has been encouraging, with skipper Lauren Bell playing in the second ODI with impressive figures of 4-33.
Reflecting on the second consecutive victory of 142 runs, he said: “The team has done very well.
“Lewi [Lewis] He has talked a lot about playing without fear and there are no limits to what we can achieve, and I feel like we saw it today.
“Personally, I just stuck to my plan and got the best performance in the game that sealed the ODI series and that’s great.
“We’re not particularly looking to change our game plan as we continue this tour, our focus is on every game where they come and play with the same aggressiveness and quality that we did today, it’s very comfortable.”
England’s white-ball tour of the Caribbean continues with the third ODI taking place on Friday ahead of a five-match T20 series.
