Anvitaa Dutt’s Qala not only marks the film debut of Irrfan Khan’s son, Babil Khan, but also stars Anushka Sharma, who was last seen in the 2018 film Zero, co-starring Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. Anushka took to Instagram on Tuesday to post her pictures from the Start set. The actor appeared in a retro look in a black and white sequence in Qala during the song Ghode Pe Sawaar.

Anushka Sharma captioned the picture she posted on Instagram, “Koi unhe kaise yeh samjhaye, Anvitaa Dutta aap hi yeh batain (how to make them understand, you just tell me Anvitaa). Beloved loved being with them on the Qala tour!”

Anushka sported heavy pearl jewelery and short hair with her saree in a black and white look. In a few pictures, he posed with a white feather and stood on a cardboard moon during the scene of the song sung by Qala of Triptii Dimri in the film. Swastika Mukherjee also appears in the film.

Anushka had previously written about Qala, “A daughter yearns for her mother’s love. Qala is a work of art. It is heartbreaking and heartwarming in equal measure. Exciting because of the skill in every department that comes in detailing the story and heartbreaking in portraying the emotional torture and A parent who is not grounded in a way that has never been done before with a film…” Check out the visuals of the song below:
