Britney Spears took to Instagram on her 41st birthday to share the news about her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, 31, in the middle of their long-running feud, leaving many of his fans confused. “It’s my birthday but you’re my heart so I’m thinking about you… thank you so much for being brave, encouraging, showing courage and glory in your show!!! You’re not alone… I love you!!!”, the mother of two wrote the words . In the photo, Jamie Lynn is pictured playing the guitar while wearing daisy shorts and a floral blouse.
Since the “Gimme More” singer has been very vocal about her troubled relationship with Jamie Lynn, the heartfelt message surprised Britney’s fans. As a result, many of Britney’s 41.6 million followers took to the comment section to express their concerns. “Welcome to the gym… Where’s Britney? #JusticeForBritney,” one fan wrote, while another replied, “Nah it’s not britney.” Other admirers admitted they couldn’t believe the 41-year-old posted this. “Wait?”, one user added, while another said, “I’m confused.”
When Britney ran into her younger sister, she also shared a photo of her wedding Sam Asghari, 28. “The man I married!!! I’m blessed!!!”, Brit captioned the sweet photo. Many of her fans took to the comments to wish her a happy birthday, while others were not happy that she was writing about her on her special day. “Talking about him on your birthday is fine,” one user wrote, while another added, “He’s lucky!” Indeed, many of her followers simply wished her well by adding, “The Queen is pleased with you.”
Brit’s post about Jamie Lynn comes just a week after the 31-year-old took to Instagram to share photos of her Thanksgiving celebrations. “I really appreciate the happy appreciation,” he photographed the group. The famous sisters have been feuding in public for quite some time now, as it’s been almost a year since JL took to Instagram to ask her older sister to call her following Britney’s letter. “Britney – just call me,” the deleted note read. “I’ve tried many times to talk to you directly and do it in private like sisters do, but you choose to do everything in public.” Interestingly, Jamie Lynn did not respond to Britney’s Dec. 2 at the time of writing this.
The hitmaker’s famous post comes a month after he publicly apologized to his former costar JL. Alexa Nikolas30, for “screaming” at her in the past during Jamie Lynn Zoe 101. “It broke my heart to see your interview about your experience in business,” the “Hold Me Closer” singer began. “I know it’s been 15 years since you shared it but trust me… I know it’s important,” Britney added. “Although I have apologized for the “genetics” my heart at the time did not know how good my family was with the REAL LANGUAGE!!! Although the mother of the two children was the main leader of the show, she did not appear to explain the matter publicly as she writes.
