Prayers for her whole family,” he wrote. The outpouring of love for a It Takes Two star continued as the evening unfolded, including an Instagram post from Crying Queens stars Jamie Lee Curtis, 64. “I just heard the sad news that Kirstie Alley has passed away. She was a great actress in @tvscreamqueens and a cute teddy bear in real life,” Jamie’s caption read. “She helped me buy my family’s clothes that year for Christmas. We agreed to disagree on some things but we had respect and cooperation. Sad news.”

Jamie is not the only one Crying Queens alum to post about going to Kirstie maybe, if Abigail Breslin, 26, also took to Instagram to express her grief. “RIP @kirstiealley you were a great lady. I’m so glad I got to work with you Crying Queens Season 2 and I always laugh at how you put your name in my phone. I hope you are resting in peace now. Love to Kirsties family and friends. Xx”, the artist wrote. Her poster included a phone call with Kirstie that read, “Kirstie (if thirsty).”

News of the Golden Globe winner’s death was shared via Instagram and Twitter on Dec. 5, through his family. “To all our friends, all over the world… We are saddened to inform you that our wonderful, fierce and loving mother has passed away after a newly diagnosed cancer,” it began. “He was surrounded by his closest family and fought very hard, leaving us with the assurance of his endless joy in life and any future experiences.” Although she was famous in the movies, she was an amazing mother and grandmother. “
