Discussions surrounding DaBaby and his concerts continue to be discussed online after the rapper gave away free tickets to Marathon Music Works to employees of the Cheesecake Factory in Nashville. According to a tweet made by an employee,
“He (DaBaby) came to my office yesterday to give me free tickets. He left and came back with a cameraman. “Why are you here again?”
People were quick to bring DaBaby “down.” We stopped by Skyler’s for tea and to see if any of the staff members were in attendance! The woman told us herself that Dababy came twice on November 16. The first time was around 2 o’clock in the night when she came to get cheesecake, she explained. Then the rapper came back two hours later with his cameraman to hand out the concert tickets.
We asked the woman how many tickets she gave out, and she advised that about 20 to 30 tickets were distributed to employees at the Opry Mills Mall. The woman also said that since the show was on the same evening, the workers got tickets and not many people had time to go.
As we previously reported, on November 7, people on Twitter talked about DaBaby’s show in Birmingham, AL, being a buy one, get one free. The facility has a capacity of 1,300. At that time, Tank entered The Shade Room, defending the rapper saying,
“Every market is not a big market for every artist. In some cities, I can do 5k, and in other cities, I can do 1k. I did all kinds of magic to make sure the place was full, lol. This is not a stranger. This is a visit.”
Friends, if you were given free tickets to DaBaby’s concert, would you go?
