Wow! Memphis Fashion Designer, Kaila Abdul, he is calling Asian doll for insulting her when she made a birthday gown. Caila took to social media to share messages between her and the rapper. She also showed off a picture of a formal silver gown. We spoke with Caila to find out more about the situation!
Although Caila is a new creator, she admits that she has not received any payment from the “Queen Of Drill” due to the lack of proper compensation procedures. The designer tells us the gown’s materials alone were about $1,000. When asked why he didn’t take a deposit, he shared,
“I know I have to. I’m still very innovative, and usually when people come to me, or I come to them, they just pay, especially if it’s urgent.”
He added that he once gave her the gown to promote her. Caila revealed that what hurts her the most about the incident is that her clothes were stolen.
“She (Asian Doll) stole my dress.” This made me very sad because I would have given it to him. He didn’t have to take it.”
Although Asian didn’t respond to Caila’s claims, another New York City artist called Asian out for not filling out invoices from a year ago! Gabriel Held Vintage wrote,
“I won’t say too much… but I have an outstanding invoice from 2021. We all need to get payment information AND make sure it’s running before we start business.”
