How Drew Barrymore’s griddle jazzed up my family brunch

My partner and I are very busy during the week and by Sunday morning, all we want to do is lie in our beds and drink coffee while the rain falls outside our house in Portland, Oregon. I’ll read this article in comfort while my friend checks social media and, as soon as our stomachs start churning, I’ll take another dog off my chest and walk into the kitchen to start eating my famous Sunday breakfast.

Sunday breakfast has become a weekend tradition in our house. I love to cook big meals, but to be honest, cleaning up is always a pain. My partner and I eat a variety of foods, so I usually have to use one pan for his sunny-side-up eggs and sausage, and a second and third pan for my whites and veggie links. Also, I can make two pancakes at once in one pan. When I make a stack tall enough to feed both of us, the cookies at the bottom of the stack are a mess.

It was my friend who told me to try electric steering Drew Barrymore’s Beautiful Picture(opens in a new tab), which is only available at Walmart. I’m glad they did because it’s been a change to my big Sunday meals – and any big meal I want to cook.

    Beautiful designs, actually

I loved the Beautiful Grill out of the box. It is very stylish and matches well with our modern kitchen appliances. I love the gold accents and the “B” monogram, and even the stainless steel wipers that keep our computer oiled are bright and stylish. But perhaps the one thing that stands out to me about the box is how it is stored. We don’t have a lot of counter space and I don’t like clutter, but this grill fits in a cabinet that we use for cookie sheets and pizza pans. It is thin and light.

    Remove from the grill

Let me just say Beautiful grill(opens in a new tab) it’s big. It’s 12 x 22 inches – that’s about 2 feet of grilling. I managed to cook four plate-sized pancakes on the Beautiful Grill, plus two eggs, an egg white scramble, two sausage rolls, and four links at once. Even with all the food, I still had room to make snacks, which our two dogs were very tired of.

All sides of the grill are reheated quickly and cooked evenly. My eggs turned out perfect, and did I mention how easy it was to flip them in a non-sticky position? No broken yolks, amazing.

    Very easy cleaning

After I cooked my breakfast and was stuffed, I was pretty psyched that all the oil that was used for cooking was in just one cooking area. I waited for the grill to cool down a bit and then wiped everything down with a damp sponge. Everything came to this point A PFOA-free environment(opens in a new tab) in one simple swipe. I threw the removable tray and backsplash in the dishwasher and the clean was officially done. No more piles of dirty dishes to wash every Sunday! Now I can make a big breakfast and still have time to crawl into bed and pass out with the puppies. I can’t wait to use the Beautiful Grill for cheese sandwiches and everything to prepare for fajita night.
