Ice Cube is coming forward and talking about how he put his beliefs before a multi-million dollar movie role.
In his recent appearance on Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, Ice Cube broke his silence on previous rumors about his departure Oh hell noa film in which he was scheduled to sing alongside Jack Black.
Ice Cube Addresses Circular Reports Oh hell no At the exit
The “Until We Rich” singer admitted to the story, which began circulating online last October, seemingly confirming it.
“I turned down a movie because I didn’t want my mother to be happy.”
He also confirmed that the project would have put $9 million in his pocket. Of course, Ice Cube also had to keep up with the coronavirus vaccine, and so did Hollywood.
“I turned down $9 million. I didn’t want to get caught. F**k that jab, and f**k y’all for trying to get it. I don’t know how Hollywood feels about me right now…
In his comments about Hollywood, we must note that his anger must come because the industry allows producers to use vaccines that have been established, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Ice Cube Reveals He Was Fired From The Movie
Despite these comments, Ice Cube went on to explain that he didn’t really turn down the role. Instead, the authorities chose the West Coast picture, because they would not follow the order to get a “jab”.
“I didn’t refuse. The mother didn’t give it to me because I wouldn’t have shot it. I didn’t refuse. They wouldn’t just give it to me. The COVID shot, the jab…I didn’t want it. I didn’t notice that at all. There is none. F**k them. I didn’t want s**t.
Kyrie Irving Faced a Similar Decision
Of course, we have to say that Ice Cube is not the only one missing out on the COVID-19 vaccine.
Earlier this year, Brooklyn Nets forward Kyrie Irving revealed that he opted out of a 4-year contract worth more than $100 million to remain vaccine-free, ESPN reported.
“I gave up four years, 100-something million and decided not to vaccinate and that was a decision.”
Apart from Ice Cube and Kyrie, many other celebrities were found to be in the same boat. Rockmond Dunbar came out 9-1-1 after refusing the vaccine, and such a story is true for Steve Burton of General Hospital.
