Former Gloucestershire and England player Jon Lewis has been appointed England Women’s head coach.
The 47-year-old replaces Lisa Keightley after she stepped down to return to Australia this summer, having led the club since 2019.
Lewis represented Gloucestershire, Surrey, Sussex and England’s Young Lions throughout his career, before becoming head coach of Sussex in 2015 followed by his role as England U19s bowling coach.
He was also the bowling coach on England head coach Chris Silverwood’s staff but was moved to bowler following the arrival of Brendon McCullum this summer.
England Women travel to the West Indies in December as they prepare for the T20 World Cup in South Africa in February.
