Cisco (CSCO) and Qwilt have entered into a partnership with the Japan Internet Exchange or JPIX to advance the technology and deliver the power of live streaming, video on demand, and media programs throughout Japan using Qwilt’s open source technology.
JPIX provides a central point of contact for the Internet Service Providers (or ISPs) are providers throughout Japan, which facilitate traffic optimization between travel services and Internet exchanges.
Through the company’s partnership with Cisco and Qwilt, JPIX will deploy Qwilt’s Edge Cloud for Content Delivery solution at the heart of its network exchange.
