River Rose she’s a mother’s girl! Kelly Clarkson brought her 8-year-old daughter to the 2022 People’s Choice Awards to celebrate. They sat side by side on the show and hugged Kelly after she won the 2022 Daytime Talk Show.
Kelly took to the stage and shouted, “I have a date night with my daughter, River Rose.” After speaking, Kelly admitted that “I’m going to eat ice cream with my daughter.” You can hear River yelling “go mom” from the audience.
Kelly is an ex Brandon Blackstock He also has a 6-year-old son Remington. The “Powerful” singer mentioned her son during her speech. “And Remy, I know you are at home, you are not well. We love you, baby! Kelly said.
The daytime news anchor looked beautiful in a red dress. Her hair was pulled up into a messy knot. River was dressed impressively for her night out, wearing a glittering gold dress with matching trousers and shoes. She also wore a beautiful headband as an accessory.
Kelly said that this award is “very good” for him “because this is where people vote. And I feel like for the last 20 years, so my whole career has been people voting for me or getting something.” Kelly won the first season of American Idol and American votes.
The Grammy winner and Brandon split in June 2020 after 7 years of marriage. Their divorce was finalized the following year in August 2021 following a financial dispute. “Obviously, everybody knows that the big divorce went through and it’s been like two years and it’s been difficult with the kids,” Kelly said. Through the divorce, Kelly has custody of River and Remington, according to TMZ. Brandon gets the kids one weekend a month. He currently lives in Montana. He was awarded $45,600 a month in child support along with $115,000 a month in spousal support.
