(Reuters) – Mariah Carey’s life and career is being celebrated in a new comic book.
TidalWave Comics has added the singer to their “Female Force” series which highlights successful women in their respective fields.
In 22 pages, Carey’s childhood and her rise to fame are vividly illustrated with illustrations by Pablo Martinena.
Author Michael Frizell said he was proud to write the quote: “I hope readers will learn something new about him.”
Three covers will be released with one identifying her as the “Queen of Christmas.” Carey’s 1994 hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You” is still played around the holiday season even nearly 25 years later.
The hardback and paperback issues will be released on Dec. 7.
