Director Anurag Basu has teamed up with producer Bhushan Kumar for a new anthology, Metro… In Dino. Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur are both ready for the role. This will be their first collaboration. The project has a star cast like Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal and others.
On Wednesday, Sara Ali Khan took to her social media to confirm her role in Metro…Mu Dino. The actress shared pictures along with Aditya Roy Kapur, Anurag Basu, Pritam and Bhushan Kumar. She captioned the post, “So happy and excited to be a part of #MetroInDino.”

So far, the details of the plot have not been revealed. However, in the media, Anurag Basu, who also contributed to the 2007 film Life in … Metro, revealed that Metro … In Dino is a “new and important story”. The anthology will also feature music by Pritam who served as the music director for the previous film.
On the work front, Sara Ali Khan will next be seen in Laxman Utekar’s next titleless which also stars Vicky Kaushal. She will also be seen in Gaslight with Vikrant Massey. Meanwhile, Aditya Roy Kapur was last seen in Rashtra Kavach Om.
