DUBAI (Reuters) – Morgan Stanley (NYSE:) Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regional head Sammy Kayello is stepping down, the bank said in an internal memo, although he will remain with the business as a senior adviser to the Wall Street bank.
Morgan Stanley Saudi Arabia CEO Abdulaziz Alajaji and MENA investment bank head Patrick Delivanis will replace Kayello as MENA regional heads, an internal memo shared Friday.
The US bank said Alajaji and Delivanis will retain their current roles and take on additional responsibilities.
Bloomberg first reported on the change in regional management at the bank. Morgan Stanley declined to comment when contacted by Reuters on Monday.
The memo, which was seen by Reuters, also said that Gokhan Unal will become the deputy chairman of MENA at the US bank, in addition to his leadership roles in Morgan Stanley’s investment management business.
