Partick Thistle chairman Jacqui Low and six other members have resigned from the club following the unrest.
Supporters rallied outside Partick’s Firhill Stadium last month despite the Jags’ 3-0 win over Kelty Hearts in the Scottish Cup, and now all but chief executive Gerry Britton and one director have resigned.
Fan unrest escalated in November when Partick supporters noted the recent transfer of shares from the Jags Foundation to the PTFC Trust in an attempt to reduce fan ownership.
“Although all members of the Board were re-elected at last month’s AGM, a section of the fan base, fueled by false rumors about fan ownership and ongoing negative comments, has not yet moved forward,” the redacted statement said. board.

The Kelty Hearts game saw a crowd of 1,484 for Partick, with several fans instead gathering outside the 10,102 strong Firhill after boycotting the game.
