Puma Curry, 18, is announcing that she’s a grown-up after a recent Insta post drew widespread criticism from the internet. On Sunday (Jan. 22), Curry posted a photo featuring his mother and the international star, Erykah Badu.
Two of the three pictures showed Puma and Erykah looking to the side with their buns as they shot. Erykah was wearing a white cropped tee and red pants. Puma showed off its look with a cropped tee and tight pants, minus the colors. Instead, the 18-year-old chose black suits. His caption had no words, but only an image.
More than 93,000 likes later, Puma took over his account with another post. This time he addressed the online backlash after the photos—mostly directed at Badu.
Curry wrote:
“I posted a picture (not my mom) of me and my mom Badu wearing nice pants that fit me. I’m older. What are the real issues? Let’s talk.”
Badu’s mother seems to agree with her daughter’s little shot by liking the post and replying, “Okay…”
Curry celebrated his 18th birthday on July 5. He is Badu’s second child of three.
Since celebrating her transition to officially becoming an adult, Puma has been seen sharing Instagram posts and showing off a few body shots, from swimsuit shots to grunts.
However, Erykah seems unmoved by the posts and often appears in the comment sections. And as Curry has shown before – he is great.
