The first full-length trailer of Qala is out and it’s as exciting as it gets. Directed by Bulbbul fame Anvita Dutt, the upcoming film is a psychological drama starring Tripti Dimri and Irrfan Khan’s son Babil in his debut.
The trailer of Qala starts with Tripti Dimri as the iconic Qala looking at the microphone. When the voice-over asks “Do you like music?” he replies, “No, I hate it.” We then get a montage of the ups and downs of his journey as a singer. His seemingly brilliant career is in jeopardy when Babil Khan’s Jagan enters the fray.

The film depicts a twisted story involving professional competition and a strained mother-daughter relationship.

The film’s caption reads, “The innocence in his voice is just like the pain in his eyes. We’re already gearing up to get the feeling that is Qala, come December 1.”
Qala also marks another collaboration of Tripti Dimri and Anvita Dutt who worked together in the horror film Bulbbul.

Qala also features Swastika Mukherjee, Amit Sial, Avinash Raj Sharma, Ashish Singh and others. It is produced by Karnesh Ssharma under Clean Slate Filmz banner.
