Chris Billam-Smith is looking to win a world title following a hometown fight in Bournemouth against Armend Xhoxhaj in December.
London’s Riakporhe is well placed to face WBC champion Ilunga Makabu.
WBC president Mauricio Sulaimain said Sky Sports: “Of course, he [Riakporhe] he is a great fighter, he has come to earth and I believe we will be hearing from him.
“We have been in contact with BOXXER and it seems to be real. Ilunga Makabu has [mandatory] security is planned for next year. But at any time he could freely fight [against Riakporhe] and I will be looking forward to that new hope. “
Arsen Goulamirian holds the WBA cruiserweight title and his team is already eyeing a possible fight with Riakporhe or Billam-Smith.
