    Glasgow Warriors have terminated Rufus McLean’s contract after the Scotland international pleaded guilty to abuse.

    “Rufus admitted domestic violence and his actions are unforgivable, resulting in the end of his career with Glasgow Warriors,” said Glasgow Warriors chief executive Al Kellock.

    “We have taken this issue very seriously. The sad thing is that, in every case there is a victim and as a group we want to acknowledge the impact of the girl who is involved.”

    McLean has the right to appeal the Glasgow decision.
