Not every old show from the 90s needs a refresh. Kenan Thompson probably also agrees with this after being confirmed by Saturday Night Live welcome Keke Palmer to reboot the Nickelodeon brand Kenan & Kel like “Kenan & Kelly.”
Goodbye Good Burger and hello to Rigby’s, the new grocery store where Kenan and Kelly work. Kelly gets up to the same hijinks as Kel did the other time except these moments are immediately followed by dramatic speeches and confessions of infidelity and secret babies. As Kenan says during the interview, “We just started and I think we have a voice problem.”
Will this be the play and show that will give Keke Palmer her Emmy Award? Of course not. But we saw Kenan and Kel reconnect on screen.
