Carrie Underwood has a “Blown Away” contest at the 2022 American Music Awards just for showing up on the red carpet! The stunning 39-year-old singer sparkled and shined down the red carpet on Sunday, Nov. 20 in Los Angeles wearing a sheer pink dress that featured tinsel of all colors by the actress. Tony Ward. The dress featured a low-cut, off-the-shoulder neckline, and a high-waisted top on the right side that showed off her prominent leg.

The mother-of-two styled her blonde locks with sparkling rings and statement earrings for her big night. Rhinestone open-toe heels completed her funky look. She also helped make her eyes pop with darker lashes, while going easy with neutral shades on the lips and face.
Carrie was nominated for two AMA awards this year, including Favorite Country Album for Denim and Rhinestones and Favorite Female Country Artist. Although he was a successful winner, Taylor Swift32, received all the awards before the show thanks Red (Taylor’s Version). Carrie is set to take the AMA stage again to perform her second single from her ninth studio album, “Crazy Angels”.

Carrie’s performance at the AMAs comes in the middle of her Denim & Rhinestones Tour, which kicked off on Oct. 15 in Greenville, SC and has dates through mid-March 2023. They are currently on hiatus, with performances resuming in January. “And just like that our shows this year are over!” posted on Instagram Nov. 20 post that showed her dancing in her opening act, Jimmy Allen. “Thank you #SanFrancisco for helping us finish well at @chase_center!!! Already looking forward to getting back on the road in 2023!!!”
Earlier in the month, Carrie lit up the carpet at the 2022 CMA Awards in Nashville, Tenn. wearing a baby blue tiered dress that also had a plunging neckline and a small bodice. Later in the evening, Carrie sang her heart out to her second single from her album, “Hate My Heart”. She was nominated for three honors at the show: Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, and Musical Event of the Year for her song and On Jason’s side, “If I Didn’t Love You”. Although he didn’t take home all the trophies, he was definitely the highlight of the night with his strong voice and sparkling performance ‘enough!
