The trailer of Gen Vthe highly anticipated sequel to Amazon Prime’s smash hit series Guys, it is here. And he’s bloody as hell.
The trailer opens at Vought International’s Godolkin University School of Crimefighting as a voiceover promises that the school is “a safe place for you to succeed.” The camera then pans to the balcony where the word “murderer” has been painted red on the door. I think safety is at hand in these hallowed halls.
Gen V promises to follow the “hormonal, competitive lives of Supes as they test their physical, sexual, and moral limits” competing for the best deals in the best cities. It combines animations Boys Presents: Diabolical is an online list 7 on 7 such as the recent growth of the show’s universe.
The show stars Patrick Schwarzenegger as Golden Boy, Sean Patrick Thomas as Polarity, and Marco Pigossi as Doctor Edison Cardosa. Jaz Sinclair (“The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”), Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, and Asa Germann round out the cast, and Boys stars including Colby Minifie and Jessie T. Usher also appear.
Gen V will premiere in 2023, with a release date to be announced.
