The first trailer of Super Mario Bros. Movie gave us a little taste of Chris Pratt on Mario and Bowser’s (voiced by Jack Black) quest to rule the world. In the second trailer, we get a better look at the characters and the plot of the film. And honestly? It looks very interesting.
Regardless of what you think of Pratt’s performance — I don’t hate it, sue me — you have to admit that seeing Mario take on a romantic afternoon with Donkey Kong (voiced by Seth Rogen) is fun. What about the deadly threat between Bowser and Luigi (voiced by Charlie Day)? Or get a chance to renew ours Super Mario Kart horror and seeing only Rainbow Road? I would say, “let’s go?”
Super Mario Bros. Movie hits theaters on April 7.
