Every footballer’s dream is to play for their country especially in the World Cup. The series follows players from different countries over four years.
In this episode, we have met three players from Ghana: Mubarak Alhassan, Emmanuel Lomotey and Sabit Abdulai.
Everyone comes from low-income families and in order to make ends meet for themselves and their families, they must move to Europe.
Lomotey and Abdulai went to the second division of Extremadura and Alhassan to Granada Under-19s.
Lomotey has moved to France and Sweden and remains hopeful of playing at the World Cup. But unfortunately, no one has the chance to go to Qatar.
