A puffer dress that she turned into a maxi skirt. She looked beautiful with her long, brown hair pulled back into a ponytail and braids around her face. She wore black eyeliner to highlight her bright green eyes. Hoop earrings and a silver necklace with a fancy charm added sparkle to her unique fashion choices.
Although the Disney alum has been around for quite some time, his music career took off this year with the release of his single “Boyfriend”. The song peaked at number 16 on the Hot 100 chart in June, at Billboard, giving the rising star his first top 20 single of his career. Although the song was not nominated for the 2022 AMAs, Dove was nominated in the Best New Artist category and will be performing “Boyfriend” later in the night.

Dove first spoke out about being gay in a 2020 Instagram Live after being accused of sexism in her September 2020 single “We Belong”. Opening up about that time in his life for Gay Times in May 2021, he said, “I’ve been writing about my sexuality for years and I’m afraid to tell anyone.” He continued, “I went on Instagram Live and said ‘Guys, I need to explain something to you. I may not have said it, but I’m super queer. This is something that I want to represent through my music because that’s who I am.'”
“It seemed like something I couldn’t say,” he added, talking about the struggles he faced before telling his fans he was attracted to women again. “I feel like the industry has changed a lot in terms of having a place for people with platforms to be people and not be chosen. I was so scared to come out, and one day I quit because I was acting like someone who came out and I realized I wasn’t.”
