Jamila McCaskill I just want to rest from him “a difficult day.” So to relax, he started playing the online lottery and turned it upside down when he won $100,000.
According to the selling point Center Daily TimesMcCaskill recently pocketed $71,750 of his Michigan Lottery prize after taxes. He plans to use the money to pay for his house and other bills.
The issue of Feb. 1 released by the Michigan Lottery says Jamila won a prize playing on their mobile app. Jamila says she went in to play the Daily Spin to Win game when someone caught her eye – and then filled her bag.
“I had a hard day and I was resting to rest,” Jamila said. Adding, “When I was looking at different games, Diamond Payout caught my eye, so I started playing. On my second spin, the screen lit up, and I knew I had won the prize.”
Jamila hasn’t said much about what made her “difficult day”, but the success seems to have softened her in some way.
“When I saw the $100,000 prize, I couldn’t believe it. This is the biggest award I have ever won, and it makes me very happy.”
According to a press release from the Michigan Lottery, Jamila is one of over 1 million players who have registered to play their online game. The platform was launched in 2014. It offers more than 175 games and allows games from five cents to $20.
Participants also have the opportunity to play some of the most popular lottery games, such as Powerball, Mega Millions, Lucky for Life, Lotto 47, and Fantasy 5.
Jamila is not a recent success in Michigan. Another woman, Renae Shelby of Flint, won $300,000. But, unlike Jamila, Renae bought her winning ticket for the Emerald Green Wild Time live game at a market, according to a Jan. 2.
Shelby said:
“I started scratching the tickets while riding in my car, and when I saw that I won $300,000, I was shocked! I called my son right away, and he decided to call 911 because I felt like I couldn’t breathe and I couldn’t tell him that I won $300,000. It was so much fun!”
