    Fans will not be allowed to buy alcohol around the World Cup stadiums.

    FIFA’s statement said: “Following discussions between the officials of the host countries and FIFA, the decision has been made to establish the sale of alcoholic beverages at the FIFA Fan Festival, other fan-friendly places and official places, to remove alcohol sales from the Qatar World Cup of FIFA. 2022 round. stadium.

    “There is nothing about the sale of Bud Zero that will remain in all Qatar World Cup stadiums.

    “The authorities of the host countries and FIFA will continue to ensure that the stadiums and surrounding areas provide entertainment, respect and entertainment for all fans.

    “The organizers appreciate AB InBev’s understanding and continued support of our commitment to support everyone at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.”

    National Committee organizers have previously said that Budweiser will be available for purchase at the stadium from three hours before kick-off and until one hour after the final whistle.

    Budweiser is an official partner of FIFA and has a contract which is said to be worth £63m.
